Texas State Historic Marker |

In 2018, Susan Madeley, of the Trinity County Historic Commission, submitted a formal request to the State to have a Texas State Historic Marker placed at the location of the Trinity Depot. After it was approved, Donna Coffen secured funding from the Galveston Railroad Museum and Jason Hayes (E.Z. Cruise Line Parking).
Two years later (Nov 2020) the marker was dedicated.

The Wobbly marker rests in a small patch of grass just a few feet from the site of the old depot. It is surrounded by rails from the railroad. It is a fitting location.
